Original replacement brake pads with organic pad material on a steel carrier. Compared to metallic coverings, organic coverings have the advantage of better meterability and lower noise generation, with good braking performance and moderate wear.

• Organic - Softer compound tends to modulate better and is quieter but will tend to wear quicker
• Power - SRAM’s newest Power pads mix the properties of sintered and organic pads. The new compound produces a more aggressive bite and increases power under sustained braking
• 2011+ Code brakes utilize a top-loading pad while '07-10 models use a bottom-loading system
